The site is up and running stronger than before.

Due to server motherboard failure and desktop failure there are few sections that just are not
available. Services will be restored in some capacity when time permits.

First update of 2008 - exciting. The adlib section has been completly
re-written to be programatically more functional, it is also very simple for me to add new stories.
12/2/07
Set up the webcam again, added a time-till-refresh field.
11/3/07
Removed the graphical layout, cleaned up the look of the site.

What?! An Update? First one of 2007. Wow...
Anyway, I removed a couple links from the navigation because I have yet to take the time to add any content on the pages. I am
working on small features that will assist with administration. Someday I will have a forum up, but I have to take the time to
customize it - not that anyone would use it anyway. At the time of this post, I am working on a tutorial. I would like to add
at least one thing to this website that another person could actually use. I have never written a good tutorial before and I am
learning that it takes a lot of time to make a good one.
If by some chance someone actually reads this that I don't talk to daily, I would not mind some feedback on the site concerning
what I could do to it to make it more user friendly or just better to use. I am not talking about adding content to make more
people come, but things that would make it more useable. Use the e-mail link at the bottom of this page.

A few changes today. The webcam is back up again, I ran the fancy USB extension cable finally. I pointed it at the back of my desk
so that you may be able to see the top of my head from time to time. I re-named the projects section to "PHP Work" because
it sounded a bit more appropriate. Two sections were added to the site: "Software" and "Misc". I have been looking in to adding
a form to the site. No I do not expect it to get used, but thats ok - something fun to do.

One of the projects that I have been wanting to make has finally been finished. I designed a hit counter for the site that uses
my database. At the bottom of every page there is a new line that says how many times a page has been visited and when
it was last visited. I will have to live with it counting every page load for now, but that is alright. Because I am using the
database to store the counts it was really easy for me to create a statistics page showing all the information.
11/7/06
I added a pictures section. I may add other pictures to it later, but for now it will only be for the
"Great Snoqualmie Flood of 2006." I also took the webcam down again due to server relocation.
10/15/06
The webcam is back up again. I have moved it to show what is outside my window. I can use
it to check the weather. I know on a sunny day that it will not show much of anything, but I
figure I will give it a try.
9/5/06
The webcam is down due to server re-location and lack of cabling. I have some ideas in the
works but I do not know if any of them will be good. We will see if I have a way to put the
camera back up again.

Over labor day weekend I made and moved to the silver layout that you are looking at.
It's a simple design that I feel is functional. I also did a lot of work with the back end of
the site. Much of the site is now a template so that it can be easily changed.
8/22/2006
I finally completed my first real web-app. I was making a guestbook for may father's site so
people could post messages. I shouldn't really call it a guestbook because it is more of a
message poster. I will clean it up as time goes on and I will make it so that a small amount
of code can be added to a page which will configure it. It will be very versatile so that I
can continue to use it in the future for many applications. I will also tweak it one day
so I can use it here to post my updates rather than just placing them directly in as HTML.
