Festival text2speech
This simple application will convert text in to a computerized voice. Simply enter the text in the form below and press the button to make an MP3 and hear it. This uses the open source Festival speech engine.
Notes
- You are limeted to 3000 characters, anything over will be removed.
- If you submit anything long, like song lyrics, you need to wait for a bit after you hit the button.
- Sometimes you will have to spell things a bit funny for them to sound correct.
- HTML markup (or anything similar) as well as the following characters will be removed from your text: [ ] ' " \ /
